Action Plan:
9. Co-Scholastic activities:
  • These are important as the academic pursuits. Each child is encouraged to take up one activity or the other according to his choice and aptitude. Nothing is forced. The idea is to nurture talent and bring out the potential of each child.

  • While conducting such activities, the following points are bone in mind:

:- In debates and declamation contests, the choice of topic is such as to debate some major value confict that confronts us in the current situation.

:- While holding cultural activities like plays, dance, music etc, patriotic themes are selected.

:- Each occasion is used to install love for our own country, art, culture, music, dance, drama, literature, religion, dress, deportment and milieu.

:- A very important aspect that is always borne in mind is to set the example of our national and world heros and recreate scenes from their lives, so as to make it abundantly clear how they overcame tremendous obstacles and achieved greatness by honesty, truth, patience, hard work, perseverance and single-minded devotion.

:- Games and sports are great teachers of values, like sportmanship, facing victory and loss with equanimity, participatory sririts, team spirits and others

:- Communal harmony is a value that is inclucated in the children and in this regard the children learn to respect all communities and cherish the value of communal harmony.

:- Our daily helpers like the sweepers, chowkidars and others are treated with due respect & regard. This is to sensitise the fact that each person and profession has a fole to play in the drama of life and must be given due respect.

10. Counselling:
  • With the confusing array of options open to the students vocational counseling is the need of the hour.

  • In the present scenario of a fast paced life and a competitive world psychological counseling has become a necessity in all schools. Teachers help the children to understand themselves, to manage stress and also explain techniques of time management. Common problems of anger, jealousy, envy and hatred are recognized and the children guided on methods to handle such situations.

11. Dealing with negative elements:
  • The school attempts to deal with negative students and their activities in a reformatory spirits, rather than resorting to punitive measures straight away. Identifying the ringleaders and tackling them on a one-to one basis controls rowdyism.
